Welcome!

Dr. Cara Manning’s research group at the University of Connecticut Department of Marine Sciences (launching January 2022) will develop and apply mobile and laboratory-based methods to measure gases in the environment (including greenhouse gases, noble gases, oxygen, and nitrogen), as well as other biogeochemical tracers.
We will research topics ranging from marine productivity and carbon cycling, to Arctic climate change, to the environmental impacts of nutrient pollution and oil and gas development.

We are recruiting new researchers! Join us!
